Leaving from Mombasa or Malindi in the morning. Driving across the ferry to the South coast. Shimba Hills is the only game reserve in the Coast. It offers 192 KM2 of primeval forest, waterfalls and hilly landscape easy range of the beach resorts. The average altitude of 300m provides a cooler temperature and a breathtaking panoramic views.

You will have a morning game drive which until lunch time. The reserve is famous for its sable and roan antelopes and very rich bird life. Buffalo, elephants and leopards are also present. Lunch at Shimba Hills Lodge. Relax in the afternoon at this beautiful lodge. Afternoon game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Shimba Hills Lodge.

*Exclusive safari: Some travelers wish to have the safari van just for themselves to suit their personal preferences for game viewing (for example travelers with special interests like bird watching or searching for big cats). To cater to their needs LionSafari offers Exclusive Safaris. For parties of 4 adults or more this option is of no extra cost (must be mentioned in the special requirements when booking). For parties including less than 4 adults the total price per exclusive safari party is minimum £599.
**Cancellations and refunds terms for this safari tour: 50% of the booking deposit is refundable if the tour is canceled at least 20 days before departure and non-refundable if the tour is cancelled 19 days or less before departure. The full amount paid for the safari tour (you are expected to pay it upon arrival in Mombasa, Kenya) is non refundable.
