Day 1 Nairobi
Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to the Nairobi luxury Serena Hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight at Nairobi Serena Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2 Nairobi - Samburu Game Reserve
Leave Nairobi after breakfast to the renowned Samburu. Heading north, you will pass near Thika and continue north through some breathtaking scenery dotted with rushing mountain streams and lush fields of tea and coffee. After Nanyuki town, you will continue north, eventually reaching a dusty outpost known as Isiolo, the last major stop on the journey into the remote northern frontier district of Kenya. From here it's a fairly short hop to Samburu for lunch. In the afternoon there will be a game drive returning to the lodge as the sun graciously sets.

Day 3 Samburu Game Reserve
Early morning game drive is followed by breakfast, and time to relax by the lodge pool or the terrace overlooking the beautiful river. After lunch there will be another game drive returning to the lodge as the sun sets.

Day 4 Samburu Game Reserve – Mount Kenya
Leave after breakfast and drive south and into the pristine forests of the Aberdare Mountain range arriving at Mountain Lodge for lunch. This is a safari tree lodge set in a forest glade with a waterhole that attracts all sorts of wildlife day and night.

Day 5 Mount Kenya - Lake Nakuru
At dawn you head north-west as you head for Nyahururu, still known to many as Thomson's Falls for its amazing 237-foot cascade. Now travel in a southerly direction to your next safari destination, the spectacular Lake Nakuru. This is often colored a shimmering flamingo pink from thousands of the beautiful birds always lining its shores. Once in the park, there will be a game drive en route to Nakuru safari lodge where you will have lunch. Following lunch there is an afternoon game drive you will then continue to Lake Nakuru lodge as the sun sets.

Day 6 Lake Nakuru Lodge - Masai Mara Game Reserve
After an early morning breakfast, drive to Narok town via Mai-Mahiu with a brief a rest stop and proceed on to Mara arriving in time for lunch at a lodge. After lunch, depart for an afternoon game drive en route to Mara Serena lodge arriving as the sun sets.

Day 7 Masai Mara Game Reserve
Early morning and afternoon game drives.

Day 8 Masai Mara Game Reserve - Nairobi
After breakfast you’ll depart the Masai Mara and head across acres of rolling wheat and barley farms to Nark, the district headquarters of this part of tribal Maasailand. From here cross the vast savannah plains on the floor of the Rift Valley whilst keeping an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle before heading up the rift escarpment. You’ll arrive into Kenya’s bustling capital in the early afternoon. Once in the city, you will dropped-off in Nairobi City center or Nairobi JKIA airport for departure flight.

IMPORTANT! If you are booking a safari tour less than 63 days in advance please wait for the confirmation email of your booking before making any further travel arrangements like purchasing international airline tickets. In case you are booking a last minute safari and we cannot confirm your booking on such a short notice you will receive a 100% refund of your safari booking deposit. July to October is a high season for safaris in Eastern Africa and we strongly advice you to book at least 3 months in advance if you would like to go on safari during this period. Last minute booking in that period can be refused due to fact that the lodges and tented camps in the wildlife parks are already fully booked.

**Cancellations and refunds terms for this safari tour:
1. Before 65 days of safari departure, a fee of £50.00 per person is charged as a handling fee to cover the cost of processing the booking and subsequent cancellation.
2. Between 64 days and 38 days of safari departure: A rate of 20% of the value of booking is applicable. This applies for all services cancelled or reduced in number, from noon on the first day of their commencement.
3. Between 37 days and 20 days of safari departure: A rate of 50% of the value of booking is applicable. This applies for all services cancelled or reduced in number, from noon on the first day of their commencement.
4. In the case of cancellation within 19 days from noon on the day the safari services commence or in the case of a no-show: 100% of the value of the booking is applicable.
